Pavan Lilly, Registered Provisional Psychologist
Pavan Lilly is a registered provisional psychologist in Alberta and a counselling therapist Mendable Psychology. She works with individual adults to treat trauma, anxiety, family violence, sexual abuse, and identity struggles.
I'm here to help explore and rewrite the stories that no longer serve you, in a way that feels more true to who you are and where you want to go.
I believe everyone has a story, and sometimes those stories can feel heavy, overwhelming, or like they don’t quite fit anymore. I’m here to help explore and rewrite the stories that no longer serve you, in a way that feels more true to who you are and where you want to go. Together, we’ll make space for your experiences, uncover your strengths and find new ways forward. Whether that’s by having a comfortable space to laugh, play, cry, be silent, or challenged, I’d like to support what healing looks like for you!
My aim is to provide a safe and comfortable foundation for folks to come as they are and work collaboratively towards their desired goals. I have experience working with sexual violence, trauma, suicidal ideation, family violence, and identity struggles. I use a holistic, multicultural, non-judgemental approach with everyone that I work with.
You can expect me to welcome you with warmth, compassion, curiosity and humour (when appropriate). I strongly believe that you know your story best and I will act as a guiding support, journeying alongside you toward your desired path. You have the ability to create positive change, and I can offer insights on ways to enhance the strengths you already possess and adjust things that may be holding you back.

Questions and Answers
Q: What type of therapy approach do you use with clients?
A: My therapeutic approach is a mix of many styles. as everyone is unique and I want to find ways to best support each person I work with. I mostly use Narrative therapy, which is a talk therapy, and I like to integrate aspects of trauma work, somatic, internal family systems, and expressive arts as it may fit.
Q: What can I expect from a therapy session with you?
A: Therapy can kind of feel like a point in a road trip where there are multiple paths to take, and you’re left without a map, unsure of which way to go. My hope is to travel alongside you, offering suggestions on which path may work best based on your past experiences and strengths. As we travel the paths together, we can navigate the bumps by adjusting the pace and figuring out what’s needed to start feeling more comfortable and confident in your abilities to continue forward.
Q: Tell us an interesting fact about you?
A: Summer is my favourite season – I enjoy soaking up the sun as much as possible! I also enjoy spending time with my little dog and colouring.
