About Mendable Psychology
Our mental health therapy clinic in West Edmonton
At Mendable Psychology, we believe in the importance of connection, healing, and growth. Mendable Psychology first opened in November 2020 and has since grown to a team of eight. At Mendable Psychology, we are committed to helping adults lead healthier, more fulfilling lives through compassionate, high-quality mental health care.
To mend does not mean to erase the past, but to create a future that feels authentic, connected, and whole. Our practice is founded on the belief that healing is possible, no matter where you are starting from. With the right support, guidance, and tools, individuals can rediscover their strength, resilience, and sense of self.

Our mission
Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based counselling psychology services to empower you to embrace your personal strengths, clarify your values, and challenge yourself to build a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Our vision
Our vision is to create a community where individuals feels empowered to heal, reconnect with their inner strength, and live a life of authenticity. We envision a future where mental health care is accessible, compassionate, and destigmatized.
Our values
Therapy as a collaborative and individualized client-centered process
Therapy sessions are not one-size fits all. We believe that quality therapy is individualized – not cookie-cutter.

Creating an environment of built on integrity, dignity, and safety
We believe that a sense of safety, that is, the conditions necessary to trust in a relationship are a prerequisite for healing. It is the therapy relationship that is consistently shown to be one of the primary factors in therapy outcomes, regardless of the type of therapy approach.
The belief that humans have the innate ability to heal and flourish
People don’t come to therapy needing ‘fixing’ because they are ‘broken’. Humans do the best they can with the tools they have. Sometimes, however, things get in the way of flourishing. Our role is to help facilitate the conditions for growth that already exist within each individual.

Part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself—to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you’ve been telling yourself about your life.
